New found interest in
Tara
Dear sir - Minister Dempsey's new found interest in Tara
is welcome as he announces the Tara brooch-shaped OPW
building for Trim. But is this not the same man who was
the Minister for the Environment when the up-grade of the
N3 and the essential bypass for Dunshaughlin was ditched
for the huge proposed tolled motorway?
He didn't show much interest in Tara then and has not
shown much concern since. How can he propose that Tara's
5,000-year history be sacrificed for 30 years of
tolling?
