Townsend's poor local knowledge

I have written to you several times before on this topic but have not done so recently, as I felt the cause was being well defended by good journalists like Kevin Myers.

But still the crap continues to pour out from the other side and the letter from Stuart Townsend is a typical example.

He says that he is an "Irishman who cares!". I would be interested to learn what part of Ireland he is from. It is certainly not from any of the counties served by the N3 or M3 route, for those people know well that these roads do not go near, or serve any part of Louth.

Again, if he was familiar with this area he would know that the N3, on it's way through Meath and on to Cavan, Fermanagh, and Donegal, passes closer to the Hill of Tara than the new M3. Tara will be more easily accessible via the old N3 (with no tolls) when the M3 opens.

I agree with Kevin Myers - "Let the JCB's roll" and lets get this badly needed road finished without any more additional costs to the taxpayers.
