Hero Myers.....
Dick Keane (October 8th.) describes Kevin Myers as a
"hero". I am afraid I do not share Dick Keane's
hero-worship of the said Mr. Myers.
Recently, commenting on the Tara/M3 controversy, he
advised the powers that be to "unleash the JCBs". The
issues involved in both of these controversies are more
fundamental and complex than is reflected in the boot-boy
tactics advocated by Kevin Myers.
He seems to have no problem attacking the powerless
while, at the same time, he continuously bootlicks those
in power. I see the same Kevin Myers, whom Dick Keane
sees as a hero, as being a hypocritical bombast.
