Prejudice, not facts
For Dr. Mark Dooley to call objectors to the M3 "crazies"
is despicable when there is a perfectly feasible
alternative to this €900.00 scheme - the
reinstitution of the Dublin-Navan rail line, and an
easily achievable upgrade to the existing N3 road with
proper traffic management systems (with reversible lanes
at peak times).
Incidentally, the monuments carved into a mountain in
Afghanistan but destroyed by the Taliban were thousands
of years younger (at about 800 years old) than some of
the artefacts and monuments already found along this M3
route - which come from as long ago as 5000BC.
But giving this due consideration doesn't suit the
simplistic, jingoistic and scurrilous prejudices of
irresponsible people.
