Construction workers flatten Collierstown graveyard
This morning Diggers flattened the
Collierstown graveyard site at Tara.Diggers are now threatening the huge Baronstown site and the new unnamed, and as yet un-classified, site close by. There was still archaeological excavation going on at that site. The conservationists are calling for support from the public in general, politicians and the academic community.
There is no need to work in the Gabhra Valley at present - this is the central section of the proposed route. Work could be carried out at the Dunshaughlin end and at the Navan section.
The make up of the new government is still uncertain and the Valley should be preserved and left untouched at least until the new government is put in place.
